Jewelry

If during the marriage you or your spouse purchased, with marital funds, any jewelry made of precious metals and/or gemstones, this jewelry is subject to division in divorce.

If during the marriage you or your spouse gifted jewelry to one another, this jewelry is also subject to division in divorce.

Bear in mind that “subject to division in divorce” does not mean “will necessarily be divided” but only that an asset or responsibility for a debt can be divided and may be divided between you and your spouse.
